Nearly two decades later, a previously unreleased cut from Rakim finally sees the light of day today. Produced by Dominic Owen, “Bring it On” was recorded in 1995 at Brooklyn’s High Class Studios.

This vintage cut finds Ra at a high point in his career, just between his final album with Eric B., Don’t Sweat the Technique and his first solo LP, The 18th Letter. Give the well-aged “Bring it On” a listen below.
