Earlier this year, Eric Cuellar and Justin Teixeira were accused of beheading a rare bird and playing with its carcass in Las Vegas, because—as The Hangover taught us—some people just can't handle Vegas. Cuellar and Teixeira, both 24, have now been officially charged by the Clark County District Attorney.
The duo allegedly murdered a Helmeted Guineafowl, which is part of the Flamingo Hotel and Casino's Wildlife Habitat Attraction. Teixeira has been charged with felony killing and torturing of an animal, while Cuellar was charged with misdemeanor instigating, engaging in or furthering an act of animal cruelty.
Cuellar and Teixeira were reportedly caught on camera chasing the bird into trees at the Wildlife Habitat, then witnesses say they emerged carrying the dead bird and its severed head. Teixeira could be facing prison time, which would most certainly hurt his career.
