In anticipation of his upcoming online exhibition Start a War, photographer Kevin Morosky has shared some of his favorite portraits with us. His images have been featured in i-D, The Guardian, Dazed & Confused, Vice, NYLON, The Fader, Dummy, Time Out New York, and Metro, and he's shot musicians like Jack PenateJessie Ware, and Lianne la Havas

In discussing the exhibition, Morosky says, “When you break up with someone you have forgotten what and who you were before them. You merge to a point where everything that came before is almost a myth.” He was inspired by a song of the same name by new wave pop duo, We The Committee.

In speaking of his work as a whole, Morosky says, “I never try to create a picture, I never have. The perfect shot is all about waiting and capturing a moment, a feeling.” Click through our latest Portfolio Review to see the work that defines him.
